J-ENG APPROVAL FOR GAZPROM CYLINDER OILS
The approved oils have been developed for modern two-stroke engines, operating with fuels ranging <0.5% to> 3% sulphur content.
Roman Miroshnichenko, Branch Director (Marine Lubricants), Gazpromneft-Lubricants said: “Japan Engine Corporation approvals expanded the list of previously received approvals from WinGD and MAN that confirms the reliability of our products.”
The five approved products are: Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 40, Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 70, Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 100 HSF and Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 17 ULSF. The product names identify each product’s BN number.
Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 40 and CCL 70 are intended for lubricating slow speed engines operating under very high mechanical and temperature loads. The CCL 40 product is a low-sulphur fuel product.
The Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 100 HSF was developed to protect two-stroke crosshead engines operating on high sulphur fuel from corrosion during “slow steaming”.
Finally, Gazpromneft Ocean CCL 17 ULSF is intended for lubricating the cylinders of the latest generation slow-speed engines, operated on fuel with ultra-low sulphur content (S < 0.5%).
