CMA CGM selects Bio-Sea BWMS

The 20,600 teu newbuilds will be equipped with Bio-Sea2100 (2,100m³/h), similar to the Bio-Sea2000 (2,000m3/h) BWMS already supplied to CMA CGM’s current largest vessel, Vasco de Gama.

The contract includes all design and supervision and is being carried out by Hanjin Heavy Industries Corporation Philippines (HHIC PHIL).

This latest contract follows a flurry of orders for Bio-UV’s BWMS from industry players including France’s Piriou shipyards, which ordered a Bio-Sea100 skid version system for national marine vessel B2M.

Founded in May 2000 and based in Southern France, BIO-UV specialises in UV-C light for water treatment, designs, manufactures, and offers worldwide UV solutions for water disinfection.
