ONE takes delivery of sixth ULCS from JMUC
The main engine is equipped with an electronically controlled engine and features the “Dual Tuning” option, permitting the choice of optimised power ranges for high and low load operation. This permits the ship operator to optimise fuel economy performance in a wide range of speed ranges. ONE APUS also employs a hull form with minimized engine-room space to improve cargo-loading efficiency.
In common with other vessels in the series, the vessel has used high tensile strength steel “YP 460” to increase the container load capacity. The vessel also features structural arrest technology and highly efficient welding technology.
The vessel also features a wide window to improve the widen the range of vision for vessel operators from the wing of vessel’s bridge when berthing and unberthing. The navigation bridge also includes an Integrated Navigation System (INS), which consolidates functions of vessel systems to efficiently reduce the workload of operators.
ONE APUS will be chartered to NYK, and deployed on the East Coast 4 (EC4) service (Asia to US East Coast).
