Kyma apps available to Vessel Insight users

Data Analysis, a tool to enable statistical modelling of ship performance data, is the first of several Kyma applications to be made available to Vessel Insight customers via the Kognifai Partner Program.

“Having Kyma join the Kognifai Partner Program means giving our customers access to sophisticated tools for overall vessel performance monitoring and evaluating fleet performance,” said Eirik Næsje, senior vice president vessel insight, Kongsberg Digital. “We are very happy to have Kyma join us and know that this development will benefit customers looking to reduce emissions and increase cost-efficiency through Vessel Insight.”

The application uses data from Kongsberg’s vessel-to-cloud infrastructure to generate reports as required, including graphical, numerical, and predicted values. The ability to establish relational comparisons and analyse variables enables users to take action to optimise ship efficiency and improve performance.

Data Analysis is also accessible as a standalone application in the Kognifai Marketplace and is expected to be followed by Kyma’s Charter Party and Notification applications.
