The company offers full-scale digital twin ship performance analysis through its CASPER service. The fuel consumption tables provided by Propulsion Dynamics offer particular insights into the optimisation of a range of tramp shipping vessels, including those on short-term time charter agreements.

The acquisition marks ZeroNorth’s entry into the fuel optimisation market; ZeroNorth plans to extend its market proposition and offer new products and services. Using the experience from Propulsion Dynamics’ 25,000+ ship models with ZeroNorth’s technology and machine learning expertise, ZeroNorth will be able to considerably scale up CASPER’s potential use cases in the market. This will allow ZeroNorth to immediately strengthen its Optimise solution, permitting the software to offer more authoritative recommendations to increase revenue and cut emissions for tramp shipping vessels.
