Ten new MPPs for RMS

The vessels are 14,000dwt, bridge fore and fitted with two 250mt cranes which can be combined to give a total lift of 500mt. The vessels will be under DNV class with 1A Iceclass and ‘Hatchless’ notation.

Having one hold/one hatch of 91.8 metres by 19.8 metres (lower hold) and 114.10 metres by 19.80 metres (tween deck) and a clear deck area of 125.40 metres by 25.60 metres the vessels are said by RMC to be optimised for the carriage of project cargo for onshore and offshore industry.

The first six units will be delivered in 2024, with the remaining scheduled for 2025.
