IBIA appoints Prokopakis as Executive Director

IBIA expects Prokopakis to play an instrumental role in navigating the association through the evolving challenges and opportunities in the marine fuel industry. Prokopakis will collaborate closely with the entire IBIA team – the Global Board, the Regional Boards, and IBIA’s Secretariat – enacting the Global Board’s strategic plans and ensuring alignment across all IBIA’s divisions. 

Prokopakis has extensive bunker industry experience both as a physical supplier and in LNG fuel supply. Within IBIA, Prokopakis has been an active member, and served as Chair of IBIA’s Bunker License and Mass Flow Meter Working Group.
