The International Forum for the bunkering industry to support 45th edition

Formed in 1992, IBIA now has members in more than 68 countries including ship owners/operators, bunker suppliers, traders, brokers, barging companies, storage companies, surveyors, port authorities, credit reporting companies, lawyers, P&I clubs, equipment manufacturers, shipping journalists and marine consultants.

IBIA acts to promote improved standards, knowledge and understanding in the industry through a variety of events and courses, working groups, the provision of reliable and accurate information and practical advice.

It also advocates for effective, pragmatic and workable regulations, including in one of the most important arenas, the International Maritime Organization (IMO). IBIA has consultative status as a non-governmental organisation to the IMO and attends all meetings of the IMO’s Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) and a number of sub-committees.
