Advanced vessel training heads to Finland

The K-Sim Engine Full Mission and Desktop Simulator systems feature sophisticated vessel simulation models covering conventional and next-generation vessel propulsion technologies including hybrid, dual-fuel, battery and methanol-fueled engines.

The simulator technology will give Aboa Mare the ability to offer future mariners advanced vessel simulation experiences designed to prepare them for the green transition in global shipping.

For Aboa Mare, this investment further strengthens its position as a leading maritime training hub.

Kongsberg has been expanding its maritime training reach – both with new contracts and with new offices. In July it announced it had opened two new offices in Indonesia, located in Jakarta and Batam, as part of its regional growth strategy.
