NorthStandard names new head of Asia Pacific

Hustler, who takes up the position on 27 October, has been with NorthStandard for 16 years in a range of Claims and Underwriting roles, most recently serving as Head of Underwriting, Asia Pacific. He succeeds David Roberts, who will leave the organisation in February 2026.

Based in Singapore, Mr Hustler will oversee NorthStandard’s day-to-day operations across the Asia Pacific region, working with local teams to support members and develop services. He will report to Chief Strategy Officer Ed Davies and ensure that regional initiatives remain aligned with the club’s global objectives.

Davies said: “Mike’s risk management expertise and understanding of member needs have played an important part in strengthening our Asia Pacific presence and relationships. Our regional underwriting strategy has also benefited greatly from his leadership.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Hustler said: “I am delighted to take on this role at such a pivotal time for NorthStandard in the Asia Pacific region and look forward to contributing to the continued growth of our services.”

NorthStandard operates from nine locations across the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore, Tokyo, Imabari, Shanghai, Seoul, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Brisbane and Nelson.
