Wärtsilä and TMS renew LNG agreement

Each vessel features two WinGD 5X72DF engines and Wärtsilä gas valve units. The renewed agreement, booked by Wärtsilä in Q3 2025, includes dynamic maintenance planning, round-the-clock remote support, Expert Insight predictive maintenance and full contract management.

“The agreement’s combination of technology, high-quality spare parts delivery and expert support means we can continue to strengthen the operational reliability of these vessels, ensuring we can meet rising global LNG demand and tight delivery schedules.”

As LNG operators face growing regulatory, environmental and geopolitical pressures along with industry oversupply, reliable, efficient operations have become critical.

TMS Cardiff Gas, founded in 2011, operates a fleet of 20 modern LNG carriers and is part of the wider TMS Group, which manages over 140 vessels across multiple shipping sectors.
