The partnership will integrate Accelleron’s LOREKA360° Tekomar XPERT Engine and Turbo Insights solutions with HMS’s Integrated Smart Ship Solution (ISS) 2.0 and OceanWise, creating a single system for monitoring, optimisation and emissions management.

“With a customer pool comprising vessels built by one of the world’s leading shipbuilders, HMS is a strong partner in the delivery of Accelleron solutions,” commented Shailesh Shirsekar, global head of sales and operations, Digital Solutions at Accelleron.

“Working together, we will enable ship operators to make the most of both platforms, driving efficiency and cost improvements.”

Accelleron’s LOREKA360° Tekomar XPERT Engine is already deployed on around 100 vessels within HMS’s network. Under the new agreement, HMS will grant further licences on Accelleron’s behalf for both existing and newly built Hyundai Heavy Industries vessels, with coverage expected to expand to around 500 ships.

Meanwhile, Turbo Insights takes data from turbochargers and turns it into clear information about how they are performing, helping shipowners run their engines more efficiently, cut fuel use and reduce maintenance costs over the vessel’s lifetime.

When combined with HMS’s ISS 2.0 and AI-driven OceanWise system, the integrated solutions will offer shipowners oversight of vessel performance, emissions and voyage optimisation.

“Through this partnership, we will help shipowners achieve a new level of operational efficiency for both newbuilds and existing fleets,” said Bong-jun Choi, head of HD Hyundai Marine Solution’s Digital Technology Center.

“Our cooperation with Accelleron will create new opportunities for our customers.”
