RFL partners with Sealenic on AI

Following a short implementation period, the platform has already been rolled out across RFL’s vessels and is now in use both on board and in company offices on land.

RFL will apply Sealenic’s AI-enabled intelligence tool on 23 seagoing vessels, including gas carriers, container ships and car carriers, as well as among its shore teams.

“With Sealenic, we have an AI tool that allows fast, targeted and therefore efficient access to all parts of our safety management system, especially on board ships but also on land,” said Harald Schlotfeldt, managing technical director of Reederei F. Laeisz.

“This increases process reliability and frees up resources that can be used elsewhere.”

Sealenic’s approach is built around the idea that consistent and compliant fleet operations require vessel-specific context. The platform continuously synchronises company procedures, real-time vessel data and the latest external regulatory requirements, ensuring crews and shore teams always work with accurate and relevant information.

As a result, users no longer need to reconcile multiple systems, external sources or circulars. Each vessel receives localised guidance for the task at hand, maintaining familiar workflows while improving compliance, reducing risk and saving time across the fleet.

RFL has been a development partner of Sealenic since its founding in 2024, contributing systematic feedback during early product development.
