Voith appoints new head of marine business

Dr Strahberger took over Voith Turbo Schneider Propulsion GmbH & Co KG this week from the previous head of the division, Dr Martin Füllenbach.

In his new position, he will be responsible for future products including the Voith Schneider Propeller, Voith Inline Thruster, Radial Propeller, SteamTrac and the Voith Turbo Fin.

Prior to joining Voith, he worked as consultant and project manager of international industrial project for Siemens AG. Dr Strahberger joined Voith in 2009 as vice president strategy for Voith Paper. His previous responsibilities for include management of rebuilds, spare and wearing parts, stock preparation and recycling machinery as senior vice president for products and services.
