New editor at The Motorship

Lipsith joins the title after 14 years’ experience editing business-to-business magazines covering the global airport and retail markets.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining a magazine with such a long and distinguished history, and an industry that is facing so many exciting changes. As a newcomer to the business I am looking forward to speaking with many of our readers and advertisers over the coming weeks as I learn what matters to people in our market.

“I also owe a big debt of gratitude to Bill for leaving the magazine in such good shape after many years of careful nurturing. I’m delighted that Bill will remain as a valued contributor to The Motorship and wish him best of fortune in his other new ventures.”

Thomson added: “The time has come for a new occupant in the editorial seat. We welcome Gavin to the role. His name will be new to our readers so he will be learning about marine engineering and shipbuilding and will welcome any input and suggestions.
