Hyundai launches Marine Service Center

The world’s biggest shipbuilder said the merger addressed the “growing customer need for a single point of contact and comprehensive services for all Hyundai brand ships, both during and after the warranty period”.

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard’s units in Rotterdam, Dubai, Singapore and Houston are included in the merger. HHI will incorporate service units of its Engine & Machinery Division and its Electro-Electric Systems Division into the centre at a later stage.

The centre is equipped with a feedback system for monitoring and troubleshooting, intended to prevent the recurrence of problems.
