The order for the Shell’s Prelude floating LNG project in Australia has reportedly been placed with South Koreas Samsung Heavy Industries. The value of the contract is estimated at $3 billion.

Fincantieri has announced an order from US cruise operator Carnival to build a new 141,000gt cruise ship with 3,611 passenger capacity for Carnival’s British brand P&O Cruises.
