Chinese licensee agreement extended

The range of UE marine engines is included in the scope of the agreement. CSE, China’s largest state-owned manufacturer of low-speed marine engines, has been a J-ENG licensee since 2006 and has manufactured UE engines with a bore size of 33 to 50 cm at its Qingdao and Yichang factories.

J-ENG notes that CSE has been a strong collaborator in emissions reduction technology, and completed the first 6UEC33LSE-C2-LPSCR engine equipped with a low-pressure SCR system in 2018.

J-ENG plans to support CSE in expanding its domestic Chinese sales activities “with the aim of further expanding its market share in China”.
