GTT appoints new CFO

Thierry Hochoa will join GTT’s Executive Committee and report to Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group.

Hochoa has occupied a series of high-profile finance roles in the French maritime sector, and most recently served as the Vice President, Group Controller and Performance at CMA CGM, following a period as CFO at Bourbon Offshore. Hochoa also has experience of the upstream sector, having worked in finance functions at Technip between 2004 and 2018. 

A graduate of IAE Paris and ESCP Business School, Thierry Hochoa has more than 25 years of experience in the Finance function within large international companies. 

Hochoa will replace Virginie Aubagnac, who is leaving the business. Niels G. Philippe Berterottière paid tribute to Aubagnac, adding: “On behalf of GTT, I thank Virginie Aubagnac for her commitment and professionalism within the Group, wishing her every success for the rest of her career.”
