Harris Pye expansion leads to new appointments

The expansion of the Harris Pye Group is a result of growth in offshore business, particularly in the oil and gas market. In their new positions, Mr Hayden and Mr Blake will work together to run the day-to-day operations in the UK at the company’s head office in Barry, South Wales. Both have previous careers in the maritime industry and prior to their new appointments, held the positions of technical manager and technical co-ordinator at the UK office.

Mark Prendergast, managing director, Harris Pye Group, said: “Dave Hayden has long been a director of Harris Pye Outfitting, and has been running the technical aspects of all the UK companies for some two years, so appointing him UK managing director is a very natural step. Steve Blake has been with us for some five years so they make a good partnership looking after UK operations.”

He added: “Both are highly experienced and we are comforted to know our UK interests are receiving the level of involvement they so richly deserve.”
