Huisman unveils equipment management portal

myHuisman offers users three digital services – a parts shop, a knowledge base including a smart ticketing system, and a technical library to make monitoring, maintenance, and service of Huisman equipment more efficient and predictable.

Chief executive David Roodenburg said the new portal offered a tailored suite of services for the company’s clients. “Whether they want us to take full care of their equipment, or just give a little support, our new service portal offers them easy access to everything they need – all in one place,” he said.

“Through the digital, data-driven services of myHuisman we will offer Huisman equipment owners increased uptime, optimal efficiency and low cost of ownership over the total lifecycle of their equipment,” he added.

Created in partnership with Fred. Olsen, Van Oord and others, myHuisman allows equipment browsing, parts ordering and a ticket system to prioritise requests.

Owners can share knowledge between disparate teams such as buyers, asset managers and operational crew and have access to a technical library containing drawings, manuals, certifications and service reports.

Plans are in train to expand the features in the future with, for example, a dashboard to monitor the status of equipment.
