Industrial flowmeters – DOMINO
Today we have totally 10 shipsets of AOM – RMS in WINTERMAR’s fleet. The latest shipsets are installed onboard of the vessels Era Indonesia 1 & Era Maritim. Both are Anchor Handling Tugs (AHTS) and support the ExxonMobil project in Indonesia. The system is customized to recalculate the estimated fuel consumption for individual Main Engines and Auxiliary engines based on relevant engine signals based on sea trial report reference. In the future, these supplied systems will allow owners to upgrade with fuel consumption metering by accurate flow meters
For these AHTS the AOM – RMS is monitoring the estimated fuel consumption of the following engines onboard: 2x Main Engines 3x Aux Engines This project was divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 was to prepare for the main engine rpm signal tapping and AOM – RMS installation. Phase 2 was to prepare for the aux engine power output kw signal conversion. It has to be highlighted that both AOM – RMS commissionings were performed and supported by an Aquametro Oil & Marine engineer remotely as there was no opportunity to fly over there caused by the travel restrictions due to the pandemic and save great cost for our customer. Finally, Aquametro Oil & Marine is glad to deliver within expected short time frame and match all the requirements of our good client WINTERMAR to his full satisfaction. We look forward and be prepared to accept and fulfill new challenges by our customers.
