ISSA urges cooperation in global ship supply

Hajah, who took on the role on 1 January, has placed innovation and industry cooperation high on the agenda for his three-year presidency.

“Innovation and improved productivity in the supply chain [are] key processes in the efficient management of today’s ships,” ISSA said. “A highly efficient and strong international ship supply industry is crucial to this process.”

Singapore-based ISSA marks its 60th anniversary this year, and will hold its annual convention and trade exhibition on 24-26 April as part of Singapore Maritime Week.
