New design manager for Ulstein Design & Solutions

In addition to designing offshore support vessels, the design department delivers design services to Ulstein Group’ s more recent initiatives, such as heavy offshore and short sea shipping segment efforts. Furthermore it contributes expertise to the hydrodynamics, electrical, mechanical, stability and structure areas.

Frode Sollid is an engineer in electronics and automation. He started in Ulstein Group as a senior designer/coordinator of the electrical engineering department of Ulstein Verft in 1989. Since 1999 he has been area manager electro in Ulstein Design & Solutions.
