New president for Volvo Penta

Ron Huibers, who is currently president of sales and marketing North America for Volvo Trucks Americas, will take the place of former president Clint Moore who, after 16 years with the company, has decided to retire.

Mr Huibers has extensive experience within the Volvo Group. He has held various North America and International senior positions in different areas of the business including Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Financial Services, Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks, over the past 20 years.

In his new position, Mr Huibers will be responsible for sales, marketing and aftermarket operations in North America, Central America and South America in the newly developed organisation, Volvo Penta Region Americas. He will assume the position on 1 September 2012.
