Oldendorff adds new eco-ships to fleet

M/V Jan Oldendorff, M/V John Oldendorff and M/V Julius Oldendorff were delivered from the building yard Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering in Nantong, China.

The three Ultramax vessels are 61,400 dwt on a draft of 14.03m. They have an overall length of 199.90m, a beam of 32.24m and come equipped with four 30 tonne SWL Mitsubishi cranes. The vessels are fitted with a MAN-B&W 6S50ME-B9.2 main engine of 10,000kW and a semi-duct system with contra-fins and rudder bulb system with fins.

M/V Kai Oldendorff was delivered from the Hantong shipyard in China. This Kamsarmax vessel is 81,242dwt on 14.51m draft. She has an overall length of 229m and a beam of 32.26m. The vessel has a Hyundai-MAN B&W 6S60ME-C8.5 main engine and Yanmar auxiliaries. She will be retrofitted with a scrubber next year to comply with IMO 2020 regulations.

The M/V Christiane Oldendorff (Midland Trader) was delivered earlier this year.
