Pacific Basin adopts NexusWave connectivity

One of the world’s largest dry bulk shipping operators, Pacific Basin is digitalising its fleet with a focus on crew welfare, operational efficiency and emissions reporting.

NexusWave uses advanced network bonding to manage traffic routing, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for crew and enterprise applications alike. Offering unlimited data, global coverage and high speeds, the service supports real-time communications such as ship-to-shore video conferencing, while providing a home-like internet experience at sea.

In real-world conditions, NexusWave has reportedly delivered download speeds of up to 340 Mbps and upload speeds of 80 Mbps, with network availability exceeding 99.9%.
