Partnership streamlines emissions reporting

The collaboration allows for one-click submission of emissions reports, significantly reducing manual effort for shipping companies and verifiers.

Under current EU and IMO regulations, ship emissions data must be verified by accredited bodies before being submitted to authorities. Tekomar XPERT’s emissions module streamlines this process by automating the collection and formatting of emissions data to meet both EU MRV and IMO Data Collection System requirements.

The new integration allows operators using Tekomar XPERT to instantly transfer emissions reports to ClassNK’s MRV portal, speeding up verification and simplifying compliance. The system helps verifiers quickly detect data issues, further reducing administrative delays and enhancing overall efficiency.

This development positions Tekomar XPERT among a select group of digital solutions with seamless access to ClassNK’s MRV platform, joining China Classification Society in offering direct portal integration

By April 2025, ClassNK had provided GHG verification under the IMO-DCS framework for around 6,000 vessels.
