Rolls-Royce debuts entire mtu NautIQ range

The new portfolio includes a range of both new and existing platform management and ship control systems for vessels of all kinds and sizes, all of which are suitable for both newbuilds or retrofits.

To create mtu NautIQ mtu technology is combined with automation solutions from Servowatch which Rolls-Royce acquired in 2020. “We are now not only offering our customers reliable state-of-the-art automation solutions but complete lifecycle solutions from one trusted source through onboard data collection and analytics,” said Knut Müller, vice president global governmental at Rolls-Royce business unit Power Systems.

mtu NautIQ Master is the newest generation of Rolls-Royce’s integrated platform management system (IPMS) and replaces the mtu Callosum system, offering the same base functionalities as Callosum with enhanced features on a more flexible and future-proof platform.

The company has also released a new equipment health management system – mtu NautIQ Foresight – which monitors a vessel’s technical condition, enabling predictive maintenance and aiding fleet management.

The portfolio also includes solutions for the commercial and yacht sectors, such as mtu NautIQ Bridge and mtu NautIQ Genoline NG which enables the optimum operation of onboard power generation equipment.
