The relaunch introduces Atlas, an AI-driven tool designed to help marine fuel professionals interpret volatility in the bunkering market through instant data analysis and insights.

“Marine fuel markets generate vast amounts of data yet interpreting that information consistently has remained a challenge,” said Kenneth Juhls, CEO of Tideform.

“With Tideform we are building the intelligence layer behind bunker market decisions, and with Atlas we introduce a new way for users to access that intelligence through AI.”

Smarter bunkering

The Atlas agent enables users to query live market conditions, analyse price movements and interpret trends via a messaging interface.

Combining advanced algorithms with maritime expertise, the system aligns data outputs with real-world trading behaviour across both conventional and emerging marine fuels.

Tideform’s platform processes verified data from over 30 million tonnes of bunker deliveries annually across more than 500 ports.

This data is structured into transparent price benchmarks, forward curves and actionable insights used by trading, procurement, chartering and finance teams operating within commercial shipping.

The relaunch follows a leadership realignment, with Kenneth Juhls assuming the CEO role alongside his existing position at digital procurement platform AuctionConnect.

It’s a move which signals a strategic push to integrate shipping market intelligence with procurement infrastructure, enhancing efficiency and compliance in bunker purchasing.

As fuel costs remain a critical factor in shipping economics, especially with current geopolitical uncertainties, the ability to interpret fragmented and complex data across the bunkering market is increasingly vital.

Tideform’s updated platform aims to address this challenge by delivering clearer, faster and more actionable intelligence to industry stakeholders.
