CIMAC to showcase the future of combustion
Overview topics for the next congress will include intelligent power systems and shipping 4.0, which will encompass digitalisation and connectivity, system integration, electrification and hybridisation and electronic support.
The congress will also home in on zero emissions with a close look at emission reduction technologies, low carbon combustion and how to tackle the regulatory requirements of the Sulphur Cap 2020.
From the operator’s standpoint, there will be plenty of case studies with lessons to be learnt, future challenges and ideas and developments in regulation on the agenda.
With regards to global trends, subject matter will include new engine developments, engine component developments and basic research and advanced engineering.
Call for abstracts
The congress organisers are calling for the submission of abstracts between 300 and 750 words, for which the closing date is 10 August.

As at previous CIMAC Congresses, special poster sessions will be offered. Authors can register their interest when they submit their abstract.
Full-length papers for presentations as well as posters need to be submitted no later than 6 February 2019.
