NK launches PSC performance system

The system is free to owners and operators of NK-classed vessels. Owners of other vessels can also benefit free of charge by registering to use the NK-SHIPS service.

Key features include visual checking of trends in the number of detentions and deficiencies at each port or country. Data can be sorted by detention numbers and recorded deficiencies, or selected by port/country.

PSC checklists for each port or country can be output based on the trends identified over a user-defined period or can be focused on detainable deficiencies. Users can choose which checklist items they would like displayed.

The system also allows for a straightforward analysis of trends and produces configurable summary reports.
