The affiliates are situated in Western Africa, the North Sea, South America, Asia and the Middle East and two further oil majors are also working with the company.

Arnaud Dianoux, chief executive and co-founder of Opsealog, said: “We have created a dynamic team of marine business analysts able to understand the reality of offshore supply.

“Our expertise also builds on human talent in marine vessel mechanics, energy efficiency, safety and performance management. Furthermore, our diversity is a strength that gives us the capacity to be as close as possible to our customers and better understand their needs.”

MarineLog is a client-oriented approach focused on optimising marine logistics flows, reducing fuel consumption, minimising the environmental impact generated by operations and improving internal processes. This ‘efficiency as a service’ offer is based on data from different sources including vessel tracking, weather parameters, electronic fuel monitoring systems, and other operational data.

The associated savings are generated by analysing the operational behaviour of the customer’s fleet and providing recommendations.

In the future, Opsealog will invest in research and development to improve its AI algorithms, building new partnerships with operational data and Internet of Things providers for vessel sensors.
