With no further regulations on social distancing, event numbers, international travel or face coverings, Your Arena for Ocean Solutions can run a full exhibition and event programme for the first time since 2019.

“It feels like we’ve finally broken free of the pandemic chains,” said Nor-Shipping director, Sidsel Norvik. “Shipping and the ocean industries are people businesses. We need to come together to collaborate, inspire and be inspired, learn, share and find solutions to the challenges, and huge opportunities, that await on the horizon.”

Nor-Shipping has twice fallen victim to the global pandemic, moving from its original summer 2021 slot to January 2022, before eventually securing the April dates. It will now offer its participants, of which there were 50,000 last time round, a variety of events from the 22,000 sqm halls in Lillestrøm.

Highlights include the Ocean Leadership Conference, main conference, Blue Talks programme, technical seminars, International Ship Autonomy and Sustainability Summit and a broad spectrum of partner events.

Nor-Shipping 2022 runs from 4 – 7 April 2022 at Nova Spektrum in Lillestrøm.
