Harvest Energy Marine adds bunker tanker to fleet

The vessel joins the company’s existing fleet, expanding Harvest Energy Marine’s delivery infrastructure in UK and northwestern European waters.

The 68-metre Fortuna II has a deadweight of 1,700 metric tonnes. The ship can carry Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) and marine gas oil, and is able to supply bunkering services in ports right along the UK coast, and in northwestern Europe.

Acquired in January 2022, the 123-metre, 7,915dwt Fortuna I can carry VLSFO and marine gas oil, and operates between Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery in Immingham, in the northeast of the UK, and Prax Terminals Belgium, in the port of Zeebrugge. As well as being able to supply product to ports right across northwestern Europe, Fortuna I can also provide ship-to-ship bunkering on the high seas.
