Glander International Bunkerings FuelEU Maritime compliance aid

FuelEU Maritime seeks to reduce carbon emissions in the shipping industry by encouraging the use of alternative fuels and introducing penalties for non-compliance. The new Compliance Calculator from Glander International Bunkering helps users estimate potential penalties and savings based on voyage type, fuel type, and fuel quantity.

The tool is designed specifically for commercial vessels over 5,000 GT and aligns with the more stringent requirements of FuelEU Maritime rather than the IMO’s framework.

The calculator is available in two versions. The simplified version supports MGO and VLSFO, while the full version can calculate data for all fuel types, providing more comprehensive insights. It is also designed to evolve alongside regulatory developments, with the next update scheduled for 2030.
