KPI OceanConnect completes its takeover of Baseblue

The move follows an earlier announcement that the two companies would combine their operations to streamline processes and improve alignment between regional teams.

As part of the strategic integration, which is expected to increase the group’s market share in the East Mediterranean, all existing customer and supplier agreements will remain unchanged and will continue under KPI OceanConnect, ensuring continuity for clients and partners.

Dorthe Bendtsen will remain as chief executive officer of KPI OceanConnect and will continue to lead the organisation, supported by the existing regional and local management structure. The integrated team will provide a broad range of services, expertise and tailored solutions to the shipping industry.

Commenting on the integration, Dorthe Bendtsen said the move would strengthen the company’s international presence and unlock synergies, enabling it to deliver a wider range of services and greater value to customers.
