Everllence and WE Tech unite

The agreement, signed during Posidonia 2026 in Athens, will see the companies combine expertise in electrical integration, engineering, retrofit execution and lifecycle support to deliver shipping technology that improves energy efficiency.

Energy management

The cooperation will focus on electrification and energy-management solutions and retrofit projects that improve operational efficiency and decarbonisation, together with global service, commissioning and lifecycle support.

Everllence said the collaboration aligns with its ambition of “Moving Big Things to Zero” while strengthening PrimeServ Omnicare’s offering beyond traditional service and spare parts.

The companies have already launched a project to deliver Power Take-Off (PTO) and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) upgrades for two- and four-stroke vessels during scheduled dry dockings. Discussions are underway on a pilot programme covering up to 33 ships.

These PTO/VFD upgrades are designed to optimise vessel propulsion by reducing reliance on auxiliary engines, cutting fuel consumption and emissions while maintaining operational reliability.

The solutions will be available across vessels with high onboard power demand, including LNG carriers and container ships with significant reefer capacity, regardless of engine manufacturer, supporting wider adoption of practical engine retrofits and vessel electrification technologies.
