Wärtsilä inks FSRU service agreement

The deal, booked by Wärtsilä during the second quarter of 2026, covers dedicated contract management, maintenance planning and the supply of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) spare parts. It is designed to improve maintenance readiness while providing greater certainty around costs and major scheduled overhaul events.

“This agreement gives us a clear long-term framework for managing key maintenance activities, securing OEM spare parts and preparing for the planned 36K and 48K overhauls with greater confidence.”

Operating as a permanently stationed FSRU at the ETKI LNG terminal in Aliaga, the TURQUOISE P plays a vital role in maintaining continuity of natural gas supplies. Minimising unplanned downtime is critical to ensuring uninterrupted terminal operations and avoiding costly disruptions.

Under the agreement, Pardus Energy will benefit from structured maintenance planning and guaranteed access to Wärtsilä OEM components, including support for the vessel’s planned 36,000-hour and 48,000-hour overhauls.

Commissioned in 2019, the TURQUOISE P is equipped with Wärtsilä technology, with the agreement also supporting more efficient lifecycle management by ensuring equipment remains in optimal operating condition throughout its service life.

The agreement came into effect in April 2026.
