Integrated research vessel
BRIDGE SYSTEMS
A contract, worth $1 million, has been awarded by Horizon Exploration to A-N-D Group to supply a Raytheon/Anschutz integrated bridge system for its largest seismic research vessel, Atlantic Horizon, which is being outfitted at Tyne Tees Dockyard, Hebburn. The system comprises Raytheon Pathfinder X Band and S Band colour radars, an Anschulz Gyro Compass Standard 20 GM and an ECDIS System Pathfinder/ST ECDIS/MK 11 C26 Bridge Station.
As well as the integrated bridge system, A-N-D Group is also supplying a Raytheon GMDSS radio station, a Skipper GDS101 echo sounder, a Jotron TR6101 Airband VHF Transceiver, and various internal communications and CCTV systems. Horizon Exploration operates a fleet of six seismic research vessels on various projects throughout the world.
The A-N-D Group has also won a contract from Belgium`s Great White Fleet to handle all the billing for radio communications onboard the company`s fleet of reefer vessels. Fax: +44 1375 841 511.
