Pressure made simple

Kistler has introduced the Engine Peak Meter II, Type 2515A – a simplified version of its hand-held unit that can be used on diesel engines running up to 2,000 rev/min. The unit measures up to 36 complete pressure cycles to calculate the maximum, minimum, mean and standard deviation of the peak pressure and the slope of the pressure curve.

Up to 20 sets of data can be stored in the unit`s memory and downloaded into a Windows-based package for storage and comparisons. At £825 ($1,373) excluding pressure sensor and connectors, the unit is slightly more expensive than the existing model but the two use identical sensors and connectors.
