Container lock meets OSHA rule

The MacGregor-Conver Unilock twistlock combines the functions of the W20 semi-automatic twistlock and the AFC-1 automatic fixing cone in a single unit, says the company. It has been developed to meet the latest OSHA rule requirements.

The Unilock is a universal locking device which can be used at both the accessible end and for the 76mm IS0 gap where standard twistlocks cannot be used, says MacGregor.

The company says that using the Unilock ensures that stevedores do not have to make sure that the correct combination of CV-20 and AFC-1 locks are positioned at each end of the container during loading.
