Busy start to CascadeÕs year

Keystone`s 40,006 dwt tanker Fredericksburg was at the yard for 26 days in January/February for drydocking, machinery and piping repairs, and tank segregation work. OSG`s 92,017 dwt tanker Ohio entered the yard at the end of February for drydocking, general repairs and tank coating in four wing tanks, each of 5,574m2. Three Arco ships have had minor repairs alongside at Portland and Long Beach.

Major government related projects include two months repair and upgrade work on the Military Sealift Command special project ship Observation Island, drydocking and coating work on Maersk Line`s USNS Assertive, and 80 days general repair work on the USCG 7,000 dwt icebreaker USCGC Polar Star.
