New orders for Solar Solve

Solar Solve Marine has won two orders for its anti-glare screens and roller blinds together worth over £20,000 ($31,572).

Five Solasafe screens were installed on the bridge windows of Ben-My-Chree, a 12,600gt ro-pax ferry for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. The order comprised four Casslite roller blinds in the Blue Ribband lounge and six Litetite in the passenger lounge.

The other order was for Queen of Penta-Ocean, a 22,600gt trailing suction hopper dredger built for Penta-Ocean Construction. All of the vessel’s 26 wheelhouse windows are fitted with Solasafe transparent retractable roller screens.
