Dual treatment programme

The Drewplex AT dual-treatment program for treating boiler water has been formulated to eliminate heat-reducing scale and deposits caused by excessively hard feedwater, says Drew Marine.

Synthetic polymers have been added to the traditional formulation so serve as a reserve agent to reinforce the phosphate program. When there are more hardness ions than the phosphate can handle, the polymers react with the remaining ions to prvent hardness from precipitating and forming scale. Their properties also prevent sludges and corrosion byproducts from depositing on the boiler surface..
