HMD conversions

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard is converting the 9,216g roro/lolo ship Astana into a cable layer/repair vessel for Canadian owner Secunda Marine Services. Conversion work involves the fabrication and installation of four cable tanks, including one spare, and installation of four generator sets, four thrusters and a dynamic positioning system. Five deck cranes are being fitted.
