The Netherlands : More dredger orders for IHC

IHC Holland in the Netherlands has announced details of some of the latest orders it has received for dredgers and says that, overall, in spite of the continuing economic problems in some countries in the Asia Pacific region, the outlook for new orders remains promising.

IHC says it has received orders for two 7,400m3 trailing suction hopper dredgers from Dredging Corporation of India, a 4,400m2 trailing suction hopper dredger for Sodranord SARL, the subsidiary of HAM, and a 4,900m3 trailing suction hopper dredger for Royal Boskalis Westminster NV.

IHC has also received an order for a 2,690m3 trailing suction hopper dredger for an unspecified customer, and says a Letter of Intent has been signed to build a 12,000m3 trailing suction hopper dredger for China.
