First VeriSTAR programs presented

Classification society Bureau Veritas has presented its first three fully operational chemical cargo management systems to tanker operators Van Ommeren Tankers, Marphocean and Vinalmar.

Called VeriSTAR Chemical it is a PC-based management system which provides ship owners, charterers and shipyards with assistance in the design, operation and management of chemical tankers and chemical cargoes, says the society.
