Self-contained units from Cruisair
Cruisair has introduced a series of large, self contained air conditioning and heat pump systems. The seawater-cooled direct-expansion Type FP package unit contains the air conditioning compressor, condenser, evaporator coils, blower and other components on a single chassis. The unit is enclosed by an insulated aluminium housing with integral condensate drain pan and rubber vibration mounts. The modular systems are available in horizontal or vertical configurations.
The four-tonne, 48,000 BTU, Type FP model is available now, and the product series will be expanded this year to include capacities from three to six tonnes (36,000 – 72,000 BTU). The systems are designed to provide cooling and heating in seawater temperatures ranging from 32 degC to 4 degC (90 degF ? 40 degF).
