Gypsum gets Lloyds listing

British Gypsum has had its glass-reinforced gypsum boards listed in the Lloyds Register. Gyproc Multi-Board and Glasroc `S` have both been listed as suitable for marine use due to their non-combustibility. These two products can now be used by ship fitters and specified by specialist marine architects.

British Gypsum says that glass reinforced gypsum is one of the most fire resistant products it produces. It also exhibits impact resistant properties which makes it suitable for use in areas subject to high volumes of passenger traffic, says the company.
